Dock Mennonite Academy Athletics Department announces the resignation of Ed Melendez, Head Baseball Coach. Coach Melendez was a part of our coaching staff for the past eight years, three as an assistant coach, and the past five years our head baseball coach. During his tenure, he has been an excellent teacher of the fundamentals and game strategies, which have been a foundation for the many championships our teams won over these years. In addition, Coach Melendez was a coach that emphasized both discipline and the importance of players working at a positive team chemistry, all part of the winning formula he promoted.  During the past eight years, our baseball program has consistently competed for championships at the league and district levels. Since 2010, our teams have won five league titles, four district titles, and one state championship.

Our Athletic Office is posting the head baseball coach position. We are looking for candidates that have significant experience in coaching and playing the game. In addition, we are looking for an individual that can bring enthusiasm for the sport, and the ability to provide sound teaching and tactical knowledge in continuing the strong leadership of our baseball program. Interested candidates may contact Tim Ehst, Athletic Director, at 215-362-2676, or tmehst@dock.org
