Meet Recap

The Dock girls tested themselves at the Bicentennial Athletic League meet No. 2 on Wednesday at Rose Tree Park.
Lindsey Bernd was the top finisher for the team for the first time this season. The junior’s strong third mile helped her post a 23:06 finish time for 10th overall. It was another promising step forward after her return from injury.
Erica Gunden was close behind in 12th place in 23:19. Another two places back came Camryn McCloskey in 14th in 23:33. And yet another two places back was Alana Bergey, who ran 24:36. Completing the scoring for Dock was Abbey Keller. The freshman ran 30:03 for 26th place.
Dock will try to defend its BAL Championship at 3:40 p.m. Oct. 19 at Tyler State Park. The boys race precedes it at 3 p.m.
