The boys tennis team is the largest Dock has seen in over a decade. The same goes for the team's athletic potential on and off the court. It is a squad that is heavy on seniors, but does have some quick learning to do if we want to achieve our goals for the season.

The coaching staff is made up of Cody Powis '08 (11th season) and Val Metzler '08 (5th season).

Key returning players are Josiah Davidar (Senior) and Ho Wai Wang (Senior).

Some key player additions include Victor Colom Ballester (Senior), Chirath Soithong (Senior), Adam Sheppard (Senior).

The team discusses ways they need to improve each practice and teammates help each other out as they are able to give valuable feedback to each other. Every student-athlete is at a different level of tennis, so there is a deep comradery in helping each other get better.

The team's outlook is to get 1% better in one way or another each and every day. Practice days and match days are all potential instances to improve every time out on the court.

The team's goal is to win the BAL. It is also conceivable that individuals on our team could have success in the league and district singles & doubles tournaments this year as well.

The Boys team has a loaded schedule ahead of them and may have the most matches scheduled in a decade. The more match experience our team can gain, the better off we will be.
