Girls Varsity Volleyball · Trish Hoover Resigns As Head Girls Volleyball Coach

Dock Mennonite Academy Athletics Department announces the resignation of Trish Hoover, Head Girls Volleyball Coach. In 1988, Coach Hoover was our first girls volleyball coach, and continued with the program through the 1991 season. At that time, she left coaching to focus on parenting her young family. She returned to coaching girls volleyball as our junior varsity coach in 2006, and took over the head coach position in 2010. As head coach, her teams won 5 league titles and 2 District I championships.  Coach Hoover has done a great job of teaching the technical and tactical side of volleyball, as well as developing a competitive confidence in her players. We appreciate the fine leadership she has brought to our girls volleyball program during her tenure!

Coach Hoover will continue in her role as our Boys Volleyball Head Coach.

Our Athletic Office is posting the head girls volleyball position. We are looking for candidates that have significant experience in coaching and playing the game. In addition, we are looking for an individual that can bring enthusiasm for the sport, and the ability to provide sound teaching and tactical knowledge in continuing the strong leadership of our girls volleyball program. Interested candidates may contact Tim Ehst, Athletic Director, at 215-362-2676, or
