2019 Fall Sport Pre-Season Practice Information

Fall Preseason Dates: Monday-Friday, August 12-16; Monday-Wednesday, August 19-21

First Day of School: Thursday, August 22

Practice/Game Participation Requirement: PIAA Physical Evaluation

All students interested in going out for a Dock Mennonite Academy sport are required to complete a PIAA Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation and complete the Dock Online Registration. This online registration is a feature of VNN and is located in the upper right hand corner (Register An Athlete) on the Dock Athletics Homepage. Most of the PIAA Pre-Participation Evaluation is available for online e-signatures in our new registration, but the medical info from Sections 5 and 6 must be handed in to the Athletic Department. This physical evaluation should be completed after June 1 for the first season of competition in the new athletic year. For all fall sport participants, this completed form must be turned in to the athletic office by August 12, or prior to participating in an official Dock sport team practice. Additional Notes: Please bring a water bottle, watch with stopwatch function, and a stretch band, if you own one. A stretch band will be provided for those not owning one.

Additional Notes 1) PIAA Physical Evaluation Forms are due Monday, August 14. Players may not participate in a practice or match until the form is turned in. 2) Please bring a tennis racket and water bottle to each practice. 3) Players are expected to attend all practice sessions (August 12-16 and 19-21). 4) Coaches must be notified in advance regarding any absences. Location: Longacre Gym Varsity/JV Try-Out August 12-15
Additional Notes: 1) Summer work out available on team Facebook page (Christopher Dock Girls Volleyball) or by emailing coach. 2) All players must have required PIAA forms to participate turned in prior to or on first day of practice. 3) All players should have good court sneakers (preferably volleyball specific), knee pads and water.
