Coach Justin Feil
It only took one year of running – his high school senior year – for Coach Justin Feil to get hooked. Though he did not run for the college team, he began racing his freshman year and progressed to qualifying for the Boston Marathon which he first ran as a college senior. The 2016 marathon will be his 20th consecutive appearance.
Coach Feil aims to guide and motivate student-athletes through the process of learning to reach their potential and helping the team reach its highest level possible.
Coaching experience includes working as the boys’ basketball assistant coach at The Hun School of Princeton for the last 16 years. During that time, the team has won a Prep A state championship, three Mid-Atlantic Prep League championships, and four MAPL regular season championships.
Coach Feil is Assistant Sports Editor for the Princeton Packet newspaper in Princeton, New Jersey. In his free time he plays pick-up basketball as a sort of cross-training to running. He also enjoys coaching his children (ages 13, 10, and 7) in their various sports – soccer, basketball, softball and baseball. He is also a youth group advisor at Abington Presbyterian Church.
