Dock Softball had a strong game against Delco Friday, April 17th, 2026. With a final score of 16-5, a combination of powerful at-bats and high quality defense led the Pioneers to victory. Dock was able to secure an early lead in the first inning, capitalizing on an error that generated 3 runs from a single by Torra Landis. They continued to build on this lead, including a scoring double from Avery Kutzner in the 3rd. The streak only continued through the 4th inning with several base hits and 2 home runs. Bella Taylor launched a 3-run home run to center field, and then Riley Gahman gathered 2 more with a home run to right field.
Pitcher Avery Kutzner had a great game at the plate and on the mound, giving up only 9 hits and striking out 6. Kutzner’s pitching and minimal field errors kept DelCo to only 5 runs, winning Dock the game.
