Dock Softball earned another victory on Monday, defeating Plumstead Christian 9-3 at home. The Pioneers got on the board early with an RBI single from Lydia Ehst in the first inning. This lead grew to 3-0 in the second, from a run-scoring single by Taelyn Landis. Dock continuously applied offensive pressure, with a total of 12 hits including a 2-run home run to left field by Riley Gahman in the fifth inning.
Avery Kutzner delivered consistent, competitive pitching on the mound, striking out 7 batters and only allowing 4 hits for the entire game. The Pioneers maintained steady control throughout the game, ultimately earning them the victory.
