On a Tuesday evening, the Pioneers of Dock Mennonite Academy traveled to non-league opponent Cheltenham and won, 8–7.

The Pioneers were led by Bailor White with four goals and one assist, Sophia Veltre with three goals and one assist, and Emerson Gruver with one goal and one assist. The Pioneers had a strong attack from Brielle Bauman, Rylee Underwood, Ashlyn Koezler, Alyssa Clemmer, and Ella Weaver. The offense recorded ten shots on goal and nine draw controls.

Pioneers goalie Jayda Godhania had two saves, with strong defense from Maddie Gendron, Maya Hannum, Avery Goldcamp, and Beatriz Aranzana Perez. The defense caused three turnovers and collected ten ground balls.

It was an outstanding team effort, as the Pioneers worked together to secure the win. They continue to show strong offense and defense, transitioning the ball quickly and finishing plays effectively.

The Pioneers’ overall record is now 6–1. They look forward to their next game on Tuesday, when they host non-league opponent Archbishop Ryan, with a varsity start at 3:45 PM and junior varsity at 5:00 PM.
