On a Monday night, the Pioneers of Dock Mennonite Academy hosted non-league opponent Norristown for Senior Night and won 18–9.

Tonight, we celebrated our three senior captains: Aubrey Clemmer, Emerson Gruver, and Sophia Veltre.

The Pioneers were led by Bailor White with nine goals and one assist, Sophia Veltre with six goals and four assists, Emerson Gruver with one goal, Brielle Bauman with one goal, and Rylee Underwood with one goal. Aubrey Clemmer also contributed with an assist.

The Pioneers’ attack recorded 23 shots on goal. Also contributing offensively were Ashlyn Koezler, Alyssa Clemmer, and Ella Weaver.

In goal, Jayda Godhania had three saves. The defense was strong, led by Maddie Gendron, Avery Goldcamp, Maya Hannum, and Beatriz Aranzana Perez, and caused four turnovers during the game.

The Pioneers secured 18 draw controls and picked up 12 ground balls.

The Pioneers look forward to playing league opponent Delco Christian on Tuesday as they travel to Delco. Varsity will play at 3:45 p.m., followed by Junior Varsity at 5:00 p.m.

The Pioneers’ overall record is 13–2, with a 4–1 record in league play.
