Dock falls in a 3 set Battle
Tuesday night in Longacre gym was a back and forth battle between two top teams in the district. In a match filled with scrappy defense and many service runs back and forth Dock played one of their best games to date. One big hit followed by another with big runs never counting Dock out of the fight. At one point dock was down 21-12 and came all the way back to tie it up proving a never back down attitude. Hope Johnson ran the offense and set her hitters up for success leading with 17 assists and also 3 sneaky kills at opportune times to spark her team. Riley Gahman was the hot hand tonight from the pin with some huge swings urging her team on, she finished with a team high 11 kills. Lily Schonour and Kali Ulrich were keeping Longacre gym clean by diving every direction to earn their digs. Kali had 8 digs and Lily led the team with 10. Dock is continuing to grow together as a young team and they dont let them stop them from playing big. Catch them at home Saturday night back at it!
