Hosting a District playoff game for the first time in 9 years Dock came into a full Longacre gym ready to go. With hard fought defensive battles and big time swings echoing through the gym, Dock continued to battle and fight. This was the definition of a team win. Every single hitter contributed offensively and hit positive. Emily Merrill was lights out in the middle hitting .533 with 8 kills and NO errors. Kali kept Dock in system all night passing a team high 2.2 serve receive and adding 8 digs putting her body on the line. Bailor added some huge swings from the right side in clutch moments adding 9 kills and hitting .294. The outsides both led the team in kills getting majority of the sets. Riley hit .152 earning 12 big swing kills from the pin and Taelyn hitting .139 on 13 kills using whatever hand was necessary. Hope ran an electric offense all night, saving long rallies and above it all BREAKING THE ALL TIME SINGLE SEASON ACE RECORD! The hard work pays off and all of these girls have grown immensely.
