Dock Mennonite Academy vs. MaST Community Charter

The Dock Pioneers remained undefeated in BAL league play, defeating the MaST Community Charter Panthers 229–259 at John F. Byrne GC.

Dock was led by senior co-captain Cal Hackett, who fired a season-low 38, continuing his steady leadership at the top of the lineup. Fellow co-captain Jackson Korne followed with a 46, a solid effort with plenty of room to build upon as the season progresses. Freshman Ryan Vedock secured the third spot with a 47, another steady round that showed his growing consistency.

Sophomore Graham Landes and freshman Colin Hora rounded out the scoring with matching 49s, marking their third consecutive rounds in the 40s — an encouraging sign of the important roles they’ll play in the team’s success. Junior Andrew Bradica placed sixth, showing continued growth with signs that short-game improvement will soon translate into lower scores.

Additional contributions came from sophomores Jonas Camilleri and Steve Archer, both of whom continue to make strides each match. Their steady improvements highlight the team’s depth and the long-term potential within the roster.

With the win, Dock improves to 3-0 in BAL league matches. The Pioneers now turn their attention to a key matchup on Monday, September 8, at Applebrook CC against Delaware County Christian, a team that has had the upper hand in recent seasons. Dock will look to maintain its winning momentum in this pivotal contest.
