Dock entered the court as the huge favorite in this afternoon’s contest vs League opponent Lower Merion. The team used the opportunity to give some younger players time on the court. They also enjoyed switching things up a bit in the third set by having guys change positions from their norm. Jeremy Yoder, setter became an outside hitter and tallied 2 kills and 5 aces. Connor Derstine DS/Libero also became an outside hitter and led the team in the third set with 3 kills. Outside hitter Lincoln Bergey even had a chance to became a setter in the third set!
Solid off the bench in the win tonight was Ty Rotelle with 6 assists, Trent Alderfer with two aces and Troy Vasey with 2 aces, 1 kill, 1 block and two digs.
Dock’s record moves to 6-0 overall, 5-0 in League play. Dock will honor their Seniors tomorrow evening 7 PM as they host cross town friendly rivals Souderton.
