Dock Coach Michelle Waldspurger – “Its always tough to end you’re season on a lost – this obviously wasn’t the way we wanted to end our season but it happens – I want to take a moment and thank the girls for a great season – we finished 12-8 overall and 10-4 in the league, and went to second round of districts – we want to honor our 2 senior captains – Macy Balmer and Kate Strickland – both girls had amazing careers here at Dock both were 4 year Varsity Starters – Macy an inserter on offensive corners and flier on defensive corners – Macy career stats are 50 goals and 36 assists and Kate career stats are 76 goals, 44 assists, and 10 defensive saves – she is the second all time leading scorer at Dock and she was Striker on offensive corners and defensive post on defense – but more than just their stats – these young ladies have provided an excellent environment the last 4 years that we will miss them at Dock – they work hard in classroom, on the field, and in life and have promising futures as they both will go on and play field hockey in college and will succeed in their careers as well – we wish you guys the very best and thank you for you’re time and effort!”
