Dock Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Don Sobetsky as our new HS Girls Basketball Varsity Head Coach. Don has been the Director for Towamencin Youth Association's (TYA) Girls Basketball program for the past 10 years and has also coached a TYA Girls Basketball team for the past 13 years.  Additionally, Don has coached his own Girls Basketball team in the Upper Gwynedd Summer League for the past 13 years and has other coaching experience in Girls Soccer, Ice Hockey, and Football. 

The Sobetsky family attends Souderton Mennonite Church. Don has had 2 children graduate from Dock and his daughter currently attends the high school. Don is passionate about revitalizing Dock's Girls Basketball program through hard work, creating a fun, positive, and unified team culture, and encouraging a growth-mindset for his players both on and off the court.
