Dock’s home meeting against Bristol was guaranteed to be a challenge, but one we wanted to surmount. One win against them would have been epic. Having Tuesday’s match canceled for weather hurt our preparation, and other little things worked against our mental game. Every game against Bristol was close for a time. Bowlers tried their hardest to put together high scores and some did. Bristol bowlers were struggling on our lanes which is part of what we were counting on, but Dock could not take advantage of this open door. Every game was lost by less than 200 pins. No one gets that close to Bristol. We’ll get them next year!
