The Pioneers traveled down to Warminster to take on 6A William Tennent. Jumping out on top has been the status quo for Dock and they wasted no time taking and early lead on a Brayden Kratz single to right field to drive lead off hitter Nate Lapp in.
Kratz led off the third inning with a triple off the rightfield wall. Sam Laux drove Kratz in on a sac fly to take a 2-0 lead. Zach Neff drove in Deven Ross with and RBI ground out.
After turning two double plays on defense in the 3rd and 4th innings Dock came out and put the game out of hand with rockets all over the yard. Taking the lead to 6-0. Giving up a run on a wild pitch in the last inning made the game 6-1.
Kratz led the team going 3 for 3 with a triple and a walk and 2 RBI. Lapp and Laux had two hits each and 3 RBI for Laux and two runs scored for Lapp. Neff, Zach Frederick and Josh Mascio added hits.
Nate Lapp and Cooper Brannon shutdown William Tennent’s lineup all night.
