DELAWARE COUNTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL: 61.00
Delco defeated Dock 61-59 in the 2A District 1 Championship Saturday at Harriton High School. A heroic Dock comeback almost turned the tide as Dock stormed back from a 20 point deficit with a 31 point 4th quarter to fall just short. Robbie Sukaly led Dock with 23 points including 14 in the 4th quarter, and Tony Martin added 16. A controversial ending marred an otherwise stellar game by both teams as Dock saw its 2-year District Championship streak come to an end.
Dock advances to the PIAA State Tournament as the 2 seed from District 1. The Pioneers will travel to face the 1 seed from District 12 on Saturday 3/8 in the first round of the State Tournament.
