The Dock Boys Soccer team faced a league and district rival on Wednesday at Delco in the first round of District Playoffs. The first half was closely contested, with Delco scoring first. Dock responded with an equalizer from a throw-in by Stellan Derstine, leading to a finish from Mikey Pustay. The half ended in a 1-1 tie.
Partway through the second half, Delco managed to score again, and later in the game, they added two more goals, ending the match 4-1.
The coaching staff would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the 11 seniors who dedicated their time and effort to the program this year. Countless hours of training, games, and team events contributed to a memorable soccer season. We hope all of you will treasure not only the positive experiences on the field but also the great memories made off the field.
