Game #4 in 4 days started out with a much longer than normal bus ride, getting the team to the field 15 minutes before game time. A decision was made by the team to skip any fielding or hitting practice and to start the game on time.
Dock scored runs in all 4 innings needed, banging out 11 hits, while giving up just 5. Aubrey Gahman had 9 strikeouts and gave up just 1 walk for Dock in the pitching circle.
Lydia Ehst scored 3 runs, had 2 walks,2 RBI on 2 hits including a monster triple to right field. Gahman joined in, scoring 4 runs, had 2 hits including a triple and had 5 RBI. Addison Landis had 3 hits and 3 runs scored. Adelyn Clemmer had 2 hits and a walk and Lianna Vargas had a hit and 2 walks. Trinity Landis had a hit, walk and 2RBI with 2 runs scored and a sacrifice fly. Eden Schrag had the 2nd sacrifice fly of the day. It was a total team effort to finish out the week.
Next week starts at Plumstead Christian on Monday followed by Plumstead visiting Dock on Tuesday for our Senior Recognition game.
