Game #2 started out with a surprise for Erin Miles, who was asked to pitch game #2 today for her 1st varsity pitching appearance.
Erin took it all in stride and pitched the 3 innings needed for the win.
Dock banged out 20 hits over 3 innings including 12 extra base hits. Addison Landis had 4 hits including a HR and a double. Aubrey Gahman had 4 hits and hit for the cycle. Miles had 3 hits with 2 doubles. Lydia Ehst had 3 hits with a HR. Leah AL Laty had 3 hits with a double and a triple. Sophia Mercure finished the game with a double and a triple.
Leah AL Laty finished the day playing 2nd,3rd, and CF in todays doubleheader.
Dock finished the regular season today with a 13-7 record and looks forward to next weeks District semifinal on Tuesday.
