Dock matched up again for the 3rd time this year vs FC, but this time for District Championship and a chance to play in the state tournament. Dock found themselves down 3-0 until scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. The big blow this inning was the 1st of 3 singles by Trinity Landis scoring 2 runs.. Trinity's 3rd single came in the bottom of the 6th giving her 2 more RBI.
Faith wouldn't go away and scored 2 more in the 7th to make it 7-6, but Aubrey Gahman was able to end the game with her 10th strikeout.
Erin Miles and Gahman each scored 2 runs.
Gahman, Addison Landis, and Lydia Ehst each had 1 hit.
Dock softball will head back to the state tournament on Monday June 5th. More info to follow.
