Dock 9- Faith Christian 3
Dock went up against Faith Christian for the 3rd time this season. Winner would head to the state tournament.
The game was tied 3-3 in the bottom of 4th when Addison Landis connected for a solo HR. When the inning ended, Dock had scored 4 runs making it 7-3. Dock scored 2 more in the 6th for a total of 9 runs. Addison had 2 hits, BB, and 3 runs scored. Riley Gahman had 2 hits including a triple, 2 RBI and 2 stolen bases. Aubrey Gahman had 2 hits including a double and 2 runs scored.
Aubrey threw a complete game with 5 strikeouts and walked 3 batters.
In the bottom of the 7th , Adelyn Clemmer and Lydia Ehst both made stellar catches to help close out the game.
Dock will play in the 1st round of the state softball tournament on Monday June 3rd.
