Offensive Highlights
- Dock softball did not collect any hits however; the girls were aggressive at bat and put many hard hit balls in play....where did that center fielder keep coming from?
Defensive Highlights
- Docks defense was solid against the strong hitting Bristol and the team came together to make key plays.
- Aubrey Gahman was the starting pitcher, she pitched 1 1/2 inning until she was taken out due to injury. She gave up 5 hits and struck out 1. Aubrey then moved to left field where she secured some key outs for her team.
- Dana Delamater came to the mound in the 2nd inning, she pitched well against the hard hitting team only giving up 6 hits, striking out 4. Dana did a great job feilding her position on several bunts.
- Addison Landis was key in the outfield making some difficult plays look routine. She was quick to get the ball home from deep centerfield after making a great catch, to throw a girl out at the plate, ending the inning and preventing a run.
- Riley Gahman was solid behind the plate, the opposing team didn't even attempt to steal on her. Riley made some key plays moving quickly on a bunt to get the runner out and making an aggressive tag on Addison's throw to get the runner out at home.
- Taelyn Landis continued to show her strength in the shortstop position, Taelyn made a great play in the 3rd inning, getting the lead runner for the 2nd out of the inning.
- Overall, the Dock defense worked hard and played together well.
