Girls Tennis came to play as Phil-Mont came to the Dock Courts for a BAL league matchup and it was a long one. Yebeen Lee battled at first singles, but struggled to match consistency with a brick wall. Cindy Tong had her best match of the year and was able to finish the close games in her favor. She came away with a 6-3, 6-2 victory to tie it up, 1-1. Morgan Brown played a tough match at 3^rd singles and fought through a foot injury the whole day, but we were proud of her grit to finish the match and make it close until the end, dropping both sets 6-2, 6-4.

Our doubles teams had their best matches of the year, battling for over 2 hours each. Lizzie and Cindy had great volleys and won a lot of clutch games throughout, but dropped the final two sets of the three set match. Jacqueline and Julie played a terrific match with two long sets. Their consistency was much improved and it gave them a season-high in games won, but came up short 4-6, 6-7. It was a great match for our team and looking forward to our next league matchup versus Calvary Christian.
