On a nice spring afternoon, Pioneers played Sacred Heart Academy and won fourteen to two at Sacred Heart.
Pioneers were led by Abby Mellinger with four goals and two assists, Jenna Detweiler with two goals, Yebeen Lee with two goals, Tess Bergey with two goals, Kenzie Derstine with one goal, Emerson Gruver scored a goal, Olivia Zaskoda scored a goal and Clara Gomez-Martin with a goal.
Pioneers goalie Haley Harper had seven saves on the day. Pioneers had nine draw possessions and twenty ground ball pick ups to Sacred Heart seven draw possessions and eleven ground ball pick ups.
Pioneers continue to play well together and keep executing good offensive plays. Solid defensive plays by Megan Wenzel, Olivia Veltre, Kayla Godshall, Clara Gomez-Martin, and Amanda Moyer.
