On a Monday afternoon the Pioneers of Dock Mennonite hosted non league opponent New Hope. Pioneers lost sixteen to nine.
Pioneers attack was led by Sophie Veltre with hat trick with three goals and an assist, Beylse Landis with a hat trick also with three goals, Bailor White scored two goals and Aubrey Clemmer scored on a eight meter shot! Lily Hunsberger, Emily Markel, Brielle Bauman and Scarlett Derstine also contributed to the attack during the game. Pioneers had twenty three shots on goal.
Strong midfield play from Sophie Veltre, Beylse Landis and Bailor White. Pioneers had twelve draw controls and twenty seven ground ball pick ups.
Pioneers goalie Ashlyn Koezler had six saved during the game. Pioneers defense caused six turnovers. Strong defense from Jenna Detweiler, Amanda Moyer, Maddie Gendron, and Avery Goldcamp.
Pioneers next game is Tuesday, home against non league opponent Academy Park at 5pm.
