On a Thursday evening the Pioneers of Dock Mennonite Academy traveled to non league opponent, Bensalem and lost fourteen to four. Bensalem hosted their senior night and honored our six seniors as well tonight!
Pioneers attack was led by Bailor White with three goals and Emily Markel with a goal as well, she scored on an eight meter shot. Pioneers had strong attack from Lily Hunsberger, Sophia Veltre, Beylse Landis, Emerson Gruver, Sami Anderson and Endi Barbullushi. Pioneers had eleven shots on goal, twelve ground ball pick ups, and ten draw control possession.
Pioneers goalies Rylee Underwood had four saves and Ashlyn Koezler had a save as well. Pioneers defense caused two turnovers. Strong defense from Jenna Detweiler, Amanda Moyer, Avery Goldcamp, Maya Hannum, and Maddie Gendron.
Pioneers looking forward to hosting non league opponent Cheltenham on Monday at home for a 5pm game time.
Pioneers overall record 7-7 and 5-0 in BAL, Pioneers remain undefeated in league play.
