On a Monday evening, the Pioneers of Dock Mennonite Academy hosted non league opponent Cheltenham nine to seven.
Pioneers attack was led by Bailor White with three goals, Emily Markel with two goals, Sophia Veltre with a goal and assist, and Beylse Landis with a goal and assist, Aubrey Clemmer also had an assist. Pioneers strong attackers also contributed Emerson Gruver, Lily Hunsberger, Sami Anderson and Brielle Bauman.
Pioneers goalie Rylee Underwood had five saves and Ashlyn Koelzer had a save as well in the game. Pioneers defensive caused a turnover. Strong defensive from Jenna Detweiler, Amanda Moyer, Maddie Gendron, Avery Goldcamp, Daniella Slater-Miller and Maya Hannum.
Pioneers had twenty six shots on goal, twenty three ground ball pick ups, and fourteen draw control possessions.
Pioneers look forward to last game of regular season when they host Collegium Charter on Tuesday night for league conference match up for senior night when we will honor our six seniors. Game is at 7pm, and senior presentations will start around 6:40pm.
Pioneers overall record 7-8 and BAL 5-0 (still undefeated in league)
