On Tuesday night Pioneers hosted league opponent Collegium Charter for Senior Night! Pioneers won sixteen to three. Pioneers honored Collegium Charter two seniors and Dock's six seniors in a night to remember!
Congratulations to our six seniors, Lily Hunsberger, Sami Anderson, Damiana Frrokaj, Endi Barbullushi, Amanda Moyer, and Jenna Detweiler. Many great memories over the last couple of years and special season this year with going undefeated in the league and winning our first BAL lacrosse title!
Pioneers had goals from eight different players. Pioneers had twenty nine goals, sixteen shots on goal, thirty seven goal ball pick ups, fifteen draw control possessions. Pioneers attack was led by Sophia Veltre with three goals, Emily Markel with three goals and one assist, Beylse Landis with three goals, Jenna Detweiler with two goals, Bailor white with two goals, Emerson Gruver with a goal, Lily Hunsberger with a goal and Avery Goldcamp with a goal.
Pioneers goalie Rylee Underwood made two saves. Pioneers defense caused two turnovers. Strong defense from Jenna Detweiler, Amanda Moyer, Maddie Gendron, Avery Goldcamp, and Maya Hannum.
Also contributing tonight was Brielle Bauman, Daniella Slater-Miller, Lila Damino, Ibiza Almendros, and Alyssa Clemmer.
Pioneers finish the regular season 8-8 overall and 6-0 BAL (undefeated)
Pioneers look forward to starting districts next week, will play on Wednesday, May 14, as they will play in the first round of AA districts. Congratulations on an awesome regular season! Pioneers first BAL league title since starting lacrosse season five years ago and will be fourth time making district playoff's. Top sixteen teams make district playoffs in AA, seeding meeting is Saturday, we will fine out who we play in the first round.
