On a Friday night, Pioneers junior varsity field hockey team, hosted Pope John Paul II. Pioneers lost four to zero.
Pioneers goalie, Lily Kulp played outstanding tallying twelve saves in the game, including some back to back diving saves. Lily had great kick saves, stacks, and clears out of the defensive circle. Pioneers defense, Laura Charles, Lydia Sensenig, and Millie Landis all played strong.
Pioneers midfielders who set up a lot of the attack were Claire Nyce, Mary-Ellen Picariello, Daniella Slater-Miller, and Natalie Fabrizio.
Pioneers offensive Nakiyah Jones, Brielle Bauman, and Abby Herman also contributed to Pioneers attack.
Pioneers JV record is 0-1-1. Look forward to playing next game on Thursday as they host Bristol for 5pm game time start.
