Pioneers traveled to Academy of New Church to play a non league match up. Pioneers showed a strong outing winning two to zero.
Pioneers Brielle Bauman scored (2:45) in the third quarter with an assist from Mary Ellen Picariello. Their second goal was scored by Mary Ellen Picariello (3:17) in the fourth quarter assisted by Brielle Bauman.
Pioneers goalie Lily Kulp had three saves on the afternoon. Strong defensive play from Laura Charles, Lydia Sensenig and Millie Landis.
Pioneers had thirteen shots on goal and five offensive penalty corners. Strong offfensive play was displayed from Abby Herman, Mary Ellen Picariello, and Nakijah Jones. Midfielders Torra Landis, Ashlyn Koelzer, Claire Nyce and Natalie Fabrizio help to create attack and come back to also play defense.
Pioneers continue to develop strong team play throughout the game. Next game is Friday, vs Villa Joseph Maria at Home 3:45pm
