Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Multiple Opponents

The Dock cross country team went on the road for their second meet of the season Thursday. Daniel Ringenberg remained in the top 3 start to finish. The senior captain finished second overall in 18 minutes, 49 seconds on the Lancaster Mennonite course. It represented a huge jump from the 21:03 clocking he had on the same course as a sophomore two years ago.
Aaron Sensenig can take inspiration from Ringenberg. Sensenig’s time as a sophomore Thursday was nearly identical, 21:04 despite taking a small wrong turn toward the finish.
On the girls side, Bobby Jo Dodds was the top finisher for the Pioneers for the second straight meet. The senior ran 25:51 for third place among girls. Maddy Churches finished in 26:15 for sixth place.
Neither boys nor girls scored as a team without five finishers. Dock will compete in the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College on Saturday.
