Golf Recap: September 5th Against Faith Christian Academy at Sweet Water GC

The Pioneers faced off against the Lions of Faith Christian Academy in the first of two matches at Sweet Water Golf Club. Despite several standout performances, the Lions edged out the Pioneers, winning 206-220. This was the lowest total score of the season for the Pioneers, but they couldn't quite match the Lions' impressive round.

Four Pioneers posted personal season-low scores, with two others tying their best rounds of the season. Cal Hackett once again led the team with a solid 41. Zeke Longacre followed closely with a 43, and Jackson Korne also posted a 43, marking a new season low for him. Isaiah Giesbrecht and Graham Landes achieved their personal bests of the season with scores of 46 and 47, respectively.

Logan Sell, Eric Hand, and Connor Jones also contributed to the match, showing the team’s depth and ongoing improvement. The Pioneers will aim to bounce back next Monday when they face Calvary Christian at Mainland Golf Club.
