The Pioneers faced off against the Panthers of MaST Community Charter School at the par-33 John F. Byrne GC and came away victorious, winning 208-254. This marks Dock Academy’s lowest team score of the fall season, improving by 12 strokes. For the first time this year, the Pioneers posted three scores in the 30s, with standout performances by Cal Hackett (37), Logan Sell (38), and Zeke Longacre (39). Well done!
It’s clear that time on the practice range and greens is paying off during matches. Sophomore Jackson Korne and freshman Graham Landes contributed to the team total with scores of 44 and 50, respectively. Isaiah Giesbrecht, Connor Jones, and Steve Archer also competed, though their scores did not count toward the final team total.
Next up, the Pioneers will aim to even the season series against Faith Christian on Thursday at Mainland GC before heading to the BAL League Championship next Wednesday. Let's go Pioneers!
