Dock Finishes Season 20-0
Dock Boys’ Volleyball hosted Central Bucks West for senior night and the seniors showed up with some of their best play of the season. CB West started the match with some good plays and stayed with Dock for several points, then Dock hit some long runs and ended the first set with a 25-14 win. The rest of the match was all Dock. Set two and three scores were 25-17 and 25-15. Congratulations on a perfect 20-0 season.
Box Scores: Team kills totaling 40 lead by senior Sean Gillespie with 15. Team aces totaling 7 lead by seniors Lane Bergey, Sean Gillespie, and Tyler Derstein each with 2. Team digs totaling 44 lead by senior Anthony Bernardo with 12.
The Pioneers will have some time off from games before they play a State Tournament Play-In game on Thursday 6/1. The game will be against the winner of the District XI tournament and will take place at a neutral site in District XI (Lehigh Valley area). First round of the PIAA State 2A Tournament is Tuesday 6/6 @ Dock if the team wins the Play-In game on 6/1.
