The Helman Invitational at Pennridge High is annually a high level meet with plenty of AAA athletes that challenge the Dock track and field team. The throwers came up big again for the Pioneers. Yebeen Lee earned third place in the girls javelin with a throw of 95-feet-9. She is already ranked second in the District 1 AA girls in the event. The senior enjoyed her finest throw in girls shot put of 27-5 for 10th, a distance that sits fourth in the district. Tessa Moyer took almost 20 seconds off her personal best to clock 12:24.16 for sixth place in the girls 3200 meters. She sits fifth in the district rankings.

Lydia Sensenig, Neva Peterson, Sadie Bernd and Moyer ran a season best of 10:48.65 for third place in the girls 4x800 relay. That’s fifth in the district.
