Boys Varsity Basketball vs. Antietam MS/HS

Pioneers Win: 59 - 40
March 11, 2023- The first round of the PIAA State Playoffs is in the books with the Pioneers advancing to the next round after defeating Antietam High School 59-40. Antietam whose high school mascot is the Mountaineers was caught off guard early in the first quarter due to the outside shooting from Dock. Antietam got down double digits early and had to fight uphill to keep the game close. As the game continued, the Dock Pioneers began to pull away and built up a lead wide enough to allow most of the team to see action.
Dock will face off against Sankofa Freedom Academy Charter at Bensalem High school Wednesday evening at 6 pm. Go, Dock!

Pioneers Win: 65 - 55
February 25, 2023- The District One single A championship took place at Harriton High School where the Dock Pioneers took on BAL rival Delaware County Christian Academy Knights. Dock emerged victorious, claiming the district one championship with the final score of 65-55. In the first quarter, the Pioneers built a large lead and went up by 20 points in the first half. In the second half, the knights put forth a valiant effort cutting the lead down to single digits, but the Pioneers had done enough to keep them away and take the win. The Pioneers won't see action again until the state playoffs in two weeks. On 3/11 @ Dock at 2:00pm Dock will take on either Lancaster Mennonite or Halifax. Go, Dock!
Boys Basketball Defeats Calvary Christian in District Semis

Pioneers Win: 46 - 30
Round one of the PIAA district playoffs took place at Longacre Gymnasium where your Pioneers played host to Calvary Christian Academy. The Pioneers didn’t have their best performance but did enough to get the win 46-30. Defense was the key to victory for Dock only allowing 30 points the entire game. As much as Dock struggled offensively so did Calvary. It came down to who could make stops defensively and who could knock down shots when mistakes happened on defense. Luckily the Pioneers had enough in their tanks to pull away in the fourth quarter. Next up is the district championship on Saturday 1:45 pm at Harrington High School. GO, Dock!

Pioneers Win: 61 - 50
February 16, 2023 - Boys Basketball BAL Playoff Tournament Semifinal
The Pioneers played host to visiting Mast Charter in the semifinals. In their first matchup, the Pioneers cruised to an easy win, but this wasn't the case the second time. MaST came ready to play and showed their competitive spirit by answering every run Dock made against them. But as the game continued, the Pioneers began to pull away and take the victory. This win puts the Pioneers in the BAL league championship. The game will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 1 pm at Morrisville high school. $5.00 Tickets are purchased at the gate for students and adults.

Pioneers Win: 64 - 34
February 10th, 2023:
Dock has finished their regular season undefeated in the BAL with a win over Plumstead Christian Academy 64-34. The Pioneers ceased control early in the contest and held the lead firmly until the final buzzer. Many Pioneers had the opportunity to see action and contribute. Now, we get into league playoffs, where the Pioneers have a chance to put a stamp on their dominance in the BAL with a tournament championship. GO, Pioneers!

Pioneers Win: 53 - 48
February 3, 2023 - The Pioneers played host to La Academia in a non-league matchup. Dock was once again victorious with a 53-48 victory. At the start of the game, the Pioneers found themselves in unusual territory down early in the first quarter. After a few minutes, things settled down and Dock gained control and went up at halftime. Dock kept holding La Academia off in the second half to seal the win. The Pioneers will play their final regular season game Friday, February 10th, away at Plumstead Christian Academy.

Pioneers Win: 53 - 40
January 25, 2023 - Dock Pioneers solidified their top spot in the BAL after a thrilling win versus Collegium Charter School 53-40. The cougars jumped out early on the Pioneers, taking an early lead by the end of the first quarter. Dock quickly took the lead back and held it for the rest of the game. The endurance of the Pioneers and the collective team defense proved too much for the Cougars to overcome. Dock will be back in action on Friday, away at Renaissance Academy Charter School at 7 pm. Go, Pioneers!

Pioneers Win: 79 - 47
January 21, 2023- Dock is continuing to separate itself from the pack in the BAL after another win against Faith Christian Academy 79-47. The Pioneers asserted themselves early and often throughout the contest. Dock had everything going right for them, knocking down open shots at a high rate and turning the lions over numerous times. The Pioneers will be on the road for another BAL showdown with Collegium Charter Academy Tuesday evening at 5 pm.

Pioneers Win: 50 - 36
The Pioneers continue their unbeaten streak in the BAL after winning their matchup with Jenkintown 50-36. The game started off a little slow for the Pioneers, leaving the game open for Jenkintown to have a chance at taking the lead. But after Dock got a feel for what Jenkintown had to offer they began to impose their will and increase the margin. Just about every player on the roster had a chance to contribute to the victory. Dock’s next opponent is Faith Christian Academy on Saturday evening at home at 6pm. Go Dock!

Pioneers Win: 72 - 36
Dock bounces back!
January 16, 2023 - The Dock Boy's basketball team is back in the winner's column after defeating BAL opponent Valley Forge Military Academy 72- 36. A quick turnaround after a tough loss on Saturday was perfect for the Pioneers. In this game, Dock found themselves down early but quickly settled in and began to impose their will. Valley Forge had 29 points in the held first half but still found themselves down at halftime 43-29. The defense for Dock took over in the second half, only allowing seven points the entire half.
Our next opponent will be Jenkintown on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at seven o'clock at home.

Pioneers Lose: 50 - 57
January 14th, 2023- The Pioneers took their game on the road for a non-league faceoff with in-town neighbor North Penn Senior High School. Dock gave a valiant effort but fell short, losing 57-50. The first half was a seesaw battle, with both teams trying to feel each other out and find the weakness to exploit. The Knights took a halftime lead of 30-28. In the second the Pioneers went on a dry spell struggling to score, which allowed the Knights to pull away late a take the win.

Pioneers Win: 78 - 26
The Pioneers Win Big Again!
January 3rd, 2023 - The Dock Pioneers remain undefeated in the BAL after a very convincing win over Mast Community Charter School 78-26. This win brings the Pioneers to a 10-1 record. Dock shot out the gates early and went up big in the first half taking a comfortable lead into halftime. The same continued in the second half, allowing every player on the roster to have a chance to contribute to the victory. The Pioneers will be on the road this Friday to face another BAL opponent @ Bristol High School at 7 pm.
Attending spectators should note there will be a $4.00 entry free. Also, the game will be live streamed on YouTube. Go Dock!!

Pioneers Win: 53 - 44
Dock wins holiday tournament!
The Pioneers boys basketball team is on a roll with a win over Souderton Area High School 53-44. This is the second straight win for Dock after defeating Owen J. Roberts high school the previous night in convincing fashion. This game was hard fought and kept spectators fully engaged. Dock jumped out to a early lead but Souderton would answer each run and respond with their own. By the fourth quarter Souderton ran out of steam as Dock pulled away.
This win makes the Pioneers champions of the Tim Ehst Holiday Tournament. The Pioneers will be back on the court after the new year.

The Dock Pioneers were on the road again, this time, matched up with league opponent Phil-Mont Christian Academy. The game started with both teams trading baskets through part of the first quarter, after the Pioneers settled in, they began to pull away due to a string of defensive stops and run-outs for easy points. Pioneers Win: 62 - 34
The Pioneers make it 2-0 in the BAL.
The Dock Pioneers boy's basketball team took their game on the road against BAL opponent Delaware County Christian. Dock came out the gates fast, jumping on the Knights in the first two quarters, taking a 31-12 lead at halftime. The Pioneers continued to widen the margin in the second half, finishing the game 62-34 win. Each player listed on the roster had the chance to contribute to the victory. Dock will be home this Saturday to face non-league opponent Phoenixville High school.

Pioneers Win: 48 - 41
The Pioneers make it two in a row!
December 3rd, 2022- Day two of the 8th annual Jim Church Tipoff classic was a good day for the Pioneers after beating the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders 48-41.
The Pioneers got out to a fast start taking an early lead, but the defense was also very stingy, only allowing fifteen points for the entire first half. Things were much of the same in the second half, the defense lead to the offense for the pioneers as they answered each run the crusaders went on. Tony Martin, Lane Bergey, and Nathan Lapp each received recognition for their good play. All three Dock Players received all-tournament honors.
The next game will be on the road at Spring-Ford high school at 7 pm.

Dock Seals the Deal Late in the Season Opener

Pioneers Win: 57 - 54
December 2nd, 2022- The Boy's Varsity basketball team opened their 2022-23 season in the Jim Church Tipoff Tournament at Souderton Area High school against the Upper Dublin Cardinals. The Pioneers jumped out to an early 11-2 lead in the first quarter but the Cardinals battled back to close the gap. At halftime, dock held a six-point advantage. Upper Dublin did take a slight lead in the third with some key three-pointers and foul shots. A few more lead changes happened in the last period until Dock strung together a few defensive stops and scores to run away with the victory 57-54.
Dock will be back in action Saturday, December 3rd at 4:30pm, with the opponent to be determined.
