1/26 Dock v. Bristol (0-4)
Bowling against Bristol’s high ranking team can be intimidating, but the Dock girls kept their sites on their own successes and never gave up working on their best game. Every match is a chance to learn and improve which the girls continue to do. They continue to battle for second place in the league, and every improvement will work in their favor.
Keep it going, girls!

1/9 Dock v. Renaissance
Dock Girls’ Bowling faced a team that they could beat if they just stayed focused and didn’t let the lane conditions get the best of them. The first game was close all the way to the end, but Dock pulled through to win. After that, each game got better and the distance between them and Renaissance grew wider. Great job keeping your focus on the lanes and putting together a successful match! Congratulations!

1/12 Dock v. Morrisville (3 - 1)
After suffering defeat against Bristol earlier in the week, Dock Girls were looking forward to a match that has winning potential. The first game was very close, but the Dock team could not get the marks they needed to take the lead. The second game was close the whole way. In the 10th frame, the scores were tied with Meagan needing to hit one pin of the split that she had on the lane. She got it! And Dock won that game by one pin! In the third game, Dock took the lead early and held on to win by enough to also win total pins. It was an exciting match! Good job, girls!

Dock Girls -- 12/12 Renaissance Academy
The first league match of our season was against a very new and excited Renaissance Academy team.
They definitely win for excitement, but the bowling skill will come in time. Our team won pretty easily even though our scores weren't the greatest either.
It's exciting to go into our next league match with a 4-0.

Dock Bowling Teams rolled against very talented Quakertown teams on Friday afternoon. Dock’s teams were in this to prepare for league matches by bowling on unfamiliar lanes and getting used to match details. Bowling against good bowlers is inspiring and raises our sites to the things we can aspire to. Dock bowlers found their ability to focus and put together things they practiced during the week. Several bowled better than they expected to which makes us hopeful for upcoming league matches.
