Pioneers Tough Loss In OT
Pioneers played Villa Joseph Maria at Villa and lost in overtime 1-0 but we played well. Pioneers had eleven shots on goal.
Pioneers goalie Madison Afanador made seven saves. The game was well played, close match on both sides of field, Pioneers had many opportunities to score but just fell short, Pioneers had a great passing game today and did keep possession most of game.
Strong play from forwards Eden Schrag, Paige Hinnershiltz, Ellie Crissman and Lily Hunsberger.
Consistent play from midfielders Erin Miles, Leah Al Laty, Sadie Bernd, and Sophia Veltre.
