On homecoming weekend, Pioneers hosted non league local opponent Souderton and lost three to zero.
Despite the score, the Pioneers played well and gave a battle on the field for every ball. Pioneers had one offensive penalty corner and two shots on goal. Pioneers goalies Madison Afanador made nine saves in goal and Lily Kulp made two saves in goal.
Pioneers attack was led by Scarlett Derstine, Ellie Crissman, Aubrey Clemmer, Paige Hinnershitz, and Ashlyn Koezler. Midfielder remained strong, led by Sophia Veltre, Beylse Landis, Natalie Fabrizio, Sadie Bernd, and Daniella Slate-Miller. Solid defensive efforts were shown from Lydia Ehst, Avery Goldcamp, and Olivia Mozzone.
pioneers next game is on Monday vs. Plumstead at home, for a 7pm game start for Senior Night vs Plumstead. Pioneers will honor our two seniors Sadie Bernd and Paige Hinnershitz for their four years on the Dock field hockey team.
