We want to thank our two seniors, Paige Hinnershitz and Sadie Bernd, who were both captains and led our team this season. They each played four years on the team and contributed both on and off the field. Paige unfortunately had a season ending injury, but she still continued to come to practices and support the girls at games. We want to take this time to them both and thank them for the last four years. We want to wish them the very best and they will be missed!
We also want to thank our trainer, Ryan Gunn, for all he does at practices and games, both during and outside of our season. We appreciate his efforts to keeping the girls healthy and recovering from injuries to get them back on the field.
We also want to thank our athletic staff, Seth Frankenfield and Sal Messina for organizing games, officials, bus rides, pre games, scoreboards, announcements, pictures, social media, and all the many things that go into our season allowing it to run smoothly. In the same breath we also want to thank our grounds crew who line and cut the fields.
Thank you to our team mom's who work behind the scenes, Kristen Bernd, Tina Hinnershitz and Meredith Ehst.
Most of all, thank you to all the girls who made this season a great one! We learned a lot and developed new friendships, we endured some bus rides that we will never forget, and some games that we played very well, and developed our skills, and we will continue to build from here for the coming years. Congratulations on a great season to remember!
Dock overall record 12-5 and 7-3 BAL
