Cardinal O'Hara - 13

Pioneers hosted Cardinal O'Hara for a night game, which the rain ended up holding out, and the Pioneers came out with high energy and excited to play at night!  Pioneers lost 13 to 3.

Pioneers defense was led by goalie Jenayah Alvarado Vanegas with 13 saves.  Pioneers defense caused 4 turnovers.  Strong defensive plays from Daniella Slater-Miller, Maddie Gendron, Ava Dunn, and Amanda Moyer. 

Midfielders Tess Bergey, Abby Mellinger and Mary-Ellen Picariello helped with the transition out from defense to attack. 

Pioneers attack was led by Olivia Veltre with 2 goals and Jenna Detweiler also scored a goal on the night.  Strong attack plays from Emily Markel, Emerson Gruver, Sophie Veltre, Lily Hunsberger, Aubrey Clemmer, and Brielle Bauman.  Pioneers had 14 ground ball pick ups, 13 shots on the goal, and 5 draw controls.  Pioneers also had 2 eight meter shots. Pioneers continue to improve on the season. 

Pioneers are looking forward to their next game on Friday when they travel to Lower Moreland for a 3:30pm game.
