Lower Moreland - 14

Pioneers traveled to Lower Moreland today for an afternoon game.  Pioneers lost 14 to 8, but it was a game to remember!

Pioneers Senior Captain Abby Mellinger scored her 100th career goal!  We are super excited to celebrate Abby's accomplishment this season with her! She is only the second athlete to ever achieve this at Dock in Lacrosse, following Kenzie Derstine. 

Pioneers Abby Mellinger led with 5 goals on the afternoon, Sophie Veltre scored 2 goals and Jenna Detweiler also scored a goal.  Emerson Gruver and Mary-Ellen Picariello each had an assist.  Attackers who played strong were Emily Markel, Brielle Bauman, Lily Hunsberger, and Aubrey Clemmer.

Pioneers defense was led by Mady Pustay with 8 saves on the game. Defenders who played strong were Tess Bergey,  Ava Dunn, Maddie Gendron, and Amanda Moyer.  Pioneers had 17 shots on goal, 16 ground ball pick ups, and 11 draw controls.  

Pioneers looking forward to playing next game on Monday away at Lansdale Catholic at 4pm.
