Delco Christian- 8 

On Tuesday afternoon, Pioneers hosted Delco for good game for BAL league competition, Pioneers lost 8 to 6, but played well.

Pioneers attack was led by Emerson Gruver with 2 goals, Abby Mellinger with 2 goals, and Jenna Detweiler scored a goal, and Olivia Veltre had an assist.
Pioneers had 22 shots on goal, 14 ground ball pick ups, and 5 draw control possessions. Pioneers had 7 eight meter shots. Strong attack by Emily Markel, Brielle Bauman, Aubrey Clemmer, Lily Hunsberger, and Sam Anderson. 

Pioneers midfield led by Abby Mellinger, Mary-Ellen Picariello, and Jenna Detweiler. Pioneers played strong in the second quarter to tie up the game at half time, 3 to 3.

Pioneers defense was led by Jenayah Alvarado Vanegas in goal with 8 saves.  Pioneers defense caused 8 turnovers. Strong defense by Olivia Veltre, Amanda Moyer, Ava Dunn, and Tess Bergey.  

Pioneers are continuing to improve each game and look forward to traveling to our next game on Thursday at Sacred Heart @ 4pm.
