Dock had a high-energy 4 set game vs. Academy of The New Church on Friday night. Dock played one of their best matches of the season so far tallying a new season high 23 kills with Adelyn Clemmer leading the team with 7, Ava Dunn and Lela Martin both earning 5 kills each, with Lianna Vargas adding 6 setter dump kills. Highlight of the night was Adelyn Clemmer leading the team on a 9 point service run to earn the first Set win of the season. The girls battled hard and refused to give up battling back each game and making the opponent earn their points through long rallys. Sophia Mercure led the team with 23 digs, never showing fear and stepping into every attack keeping the floor clean of all kills. Dock ended up dropping the match in 4 sets: 20-25, 25-22, 14-25,18-25.
Next game is Monday @ Nazareth Academy.
