Dock traveled to Renaissance on Tuesday night after a long weekend and after a slow start they were never able to recover. Each game Dock cleaned up their errors and made strides to bring the games closer, but with too many serving and hitting errors the gap could not get closed. The girls ended up hitting just over positive (meaning more kills than errors) but the serving did them in having 9 aces to 14 errors. Aubrey Gahman led the team with 6 kills out of the middle with a .500 hitting percentage and also got the lone block for her team. But the grind doesn't stop for these girls as they have one practice today and then two away games back to back. No time to dwell on the past, it's all about the NEXT POINT because that's the only one you can control.
Dock's next game is on the road at Chester Charter tomorrow night at 5pm.
