Dock bounces back after a tough match on Tuesday to get back to their winning ways making it 3 of the last 4 matches! Thursday night in Longacre Gym was all about next man (or girl) up mentality where everyone has embraced whatever they need to do for this team they will do. Four of the six positions on the court were played by different players and the girls came out and executed at their best level yet this season. This team continues to push themselves and each other and girls continue to step up when called upon. With an injury to our setter Hope after Tuesday nights game, Dana Delameter joyfully stepped in to take the biggest role on the team distributing the ball at the setter position. Dock finished hitting positive (more kills than errors) every game with this switch and Lela martin led the team with 11 kills while hitting a remarkable .429% hitting %. Ava Dunn also had 5 great kills out of the middle which playing a new position on your birthday and stepping up like that is what it is all about!
